Train: 

The journey from London (Kings Cross St. Pancras) can be made either to Lille (Lille Europe), journey time 1h22, or to Paris (Gare du Nord), journey time 2h16.

Upon arrival at Lille Europe there are direct SNCF TGV trains to Avignon TGV, or reduced price ‘OUI-GO’ TGVs from Lille Flanders (Lille Europe to Lille Flanders is a 5 minute walk). The trains with the least stops have a journey time from 3h45.

TGV trains to Avignon TGV depart from Paris Gard du Lyon, this is a short transfer on the Paris Metro from Gard du Nord. Journey time to Avignon is from 2h47.
